Position Overview
As a Regional Sales Director, you will own end-to-end territory growth—from strategic planning to execution. Your mission: drive revenue by expanding E‑FireX sales across key industries including EV infrastructure, battery storage, fire departments, and industrial fleets.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and implement territory-specific sales strategies to achieve quota.
- Analyze local market trends—battery storage buildouts, EV fleet deployment, code/regulation updates—and adapt plans accordingly
- Business Development & Partnerships:
- Identify, qualify, and close new accounts across diverse sectors (e.g., EV service centers, fire departments, logistics hubs).
- Build strategic relationships with OEMs, system integrators, distributors, AHJs, and end-users.
- Sales Leadership & Collaboration:
- Coordinate with technical teams on product demos, training, and compliance support.
- Lead cross-functional coordination with marketing for trade shows, digital campaigns, and lead-gen initiatives.
- Pipeline & Forecast Management:
- Maintain CRM (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce) with accurate deal tracking and forecasting.
- Provide weekly updates and quarterly pipeline reviews to the VP of Sales.
- Field Engagement:
- Regular travel (approx. 40–60%) to customer sites, trade events, and industry conferences.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in technical sales leadership with experience in fire safety, energy storage, EV, or related industrial B2B markets.
- Proven track record of hitting/exceeding regional sales targets — direct sales and channel development.
- Strong knowledge of lithium-ion battery fire risks, thermal runaway phenomena, or equivalent fire-protection technologies.
- High degree of technical proficiency and the ability to translate product features into client ROI.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly and manage a geographically dispersed territory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with first responders, fire departments, industrial safety managers, or OEMs.
- Familiarity with relevant fire safety standards and certifications (e.g., UL listings, NFPA codes).
- Experience using CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $98,000 – $111,000 + uncapped commission structure.
